I remember watching the Haunting of Hill House and having the deep willies when the thing came out of the wall in the basement.

I sat down right after and did the drawing to let it out of my head. No sense in waking up sweating in middle of the night over that imagery. Excellent film work in the spooky department all around.

If you are not familiar with the story, here is a brief synopsis:

“The Haunting of Hill House” is a supernatural horror series based on the novel of the same name by Shirley Jackson. The story follows the Crain family, who move into Hill House to renovate and sell it. However, they soon discover that the house is haunted by malevolent spirits. The series alternates between two timelines: the family’s time living in Hill House and their lives as adults, still haunted by the trauma of their experiences. As they confront their past and the secrets of Hill House, they must come to terms with the darkness that continues to haunt them. The show explores themes of grief, trauma, and the lasting effects of childhood experiences on adulthood.
