I imagine you spend as much time doing it as I do. Then again, that is self defeating crazy talk. There is no way you spend as much time as I do, not only worrying about things way above your paygrade…but trying to act on them. As if I had any license to even exist. Let alone impact my environment.
Which brings me to todays intrusive thought.
And it is even about the site, my “art career”, philosophy, and maybe a few of the other reasons which are the stated purpose of this new featured rant that I will be supplying the universe with.
Well rehashed rant. But mine none the less.
The though intruded because of an excellent video posted by a guy named Sam William. I do not know a damn thing about him other than what he had to say here, but this is so on point with the entire Cernunnos Foundation mission and my personal path that I felt like it needed to get more attention.
I mean, nail on head.
We need to create to be ourselves.
We need to share what we create to be true to that.
For me, this philosophy is both a personal journey and a guiding principle. Like Sam, I’ve had moments of reflection, moments when hindsight revealed the imbalance in my own life. And like him, I’ve chosen to act, to embrace creativity as a way of living and contributing. The Cernunnos Foundation and its family of websites…including this one… is a manifestation of this choice, a way to channel that energy into something tangible and impactful.
It is perfect that this video appears to being going viral for Sam, since the ideas in it are what are driving him there.
In other StepBastard publishing half thought out rants about serious things news, the shitty sketch in the banner is the idea for the base image for these rants so people who are here for art can skip em, and people who are here for these can find them. I almost used that rabbit hole to waste my whole day and I am about 2 hours behind now. HAHAHA. It is tough being mentally broken.
